Functie omschrijving

For Ecolab we are searching for an HR manager Netherlands who has strong developed skills to operate in a high dynamic, international environment. In this role you are responsible for HR in the Netherlands (500 employees, 5 different entities) developing a professional Human Resources support service to a defined set of divisions and functions. The company has grown fast and is still growing. This means that there are significant changes (e.g. outsourcing payroll, new global HR system Workday and standardization) and various projects (existing and new).

You are managing the HR team in the Netherlands on the following subjects:

  • Employee relations
  • Compensation and benefits (specific attention to pensions)
  • Organizational development
  • Talent & career development
  • Recruitment and change management

You will drive the implementation, management and administration of existing and the development and continuous improvement of new HR processes. Besides this you will be supporting in the interpretation and application of relevant/applicable labor legislation throughout the company and to keep local management and employees informed on all important HR/Personnel aspects. You will serve as a critical member of the Benelux Management Team. Although there are HR Centers of Excellence (Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Training and Development), you have strong knowledge of these areas.

Functie eisen

We are looking for a type of person who is intelligent, wants to be "Best in Class" and possesses business acumen. He/she is also pragmatic and willing to work on a combined strategic and operational level.

  • You have a master degree (HR or other).
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience within HR and minimum of 4 years’ experience in an HR manager role and the ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization within a very fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Actively builds strong peer relationships; coaches and consults leaders on efficient conflict management; supports leaders in building, identifying, retaining and promoting talent; enables performance driven culture and strong employee capabilities.
  • Supports the development of Global/EMEA HR policies, procedures and projects with local expertise and ensures efficient implementation.
  • Builds and maintains cooperative networks with relevant internal and external partners (EMEA business partners, Centers of Expertise, recruiters, legal and tax advisors).
  • Has proven experience in leading works council and union negotiations and possesses a strong background on pensions.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations in the Netherlands (based in Oegstgeest)
  • Experience with international employment and mobility is an advantage.
  • 40 hours a week availability (must)
